What is a MicroChurch

The Bible says that we don't go to church, but that we are the church (Ephesianas 2:19-22).  The Ecosystem is a term for a group of people gathering together in homes, coffee shops, parks, or any other location that facilitates a group of people gathering together to study the scriptures.  These settings (typically less than 30 people) allow for greater initmacy and dependency between friends.

The Vision

The vision of Ecclesia (Greek for gathering) is to reach out to people to show them the love of Jesus.  We look to create a church that is follows the precepts outlined in Acts 2:42.   The church will be defined by 3 things: 1. Gathering weekly.  2.  Mentoring.  3.  Serving with your community.  The church will meet weekly to share meals, hang out, pray, and study the scriptures (Acts 2:42).  The church will be focused on mentorship through small groups that will meet regularly.  The church will reach out to the community through personal relationships, service projects and events where they will interact with the community to show them the love of Jesus, and to make sure that their love for one another is able to be seen.
